This is the endresult of a project we had to make for the course Physical Computing. This is a miniature version of the well known DanceDanceRevolution. The left image shows the game you had to play. The squares on the screen resemble the squares of the controler, every time the square on the screen lights up you have to tap the square on the controler.
The controler was build from a USB keyboard as you can see from the picture in the middle. From there we used the letters that you get when you connect two wires on the USB keyboard to controle the Flash game.
The software was written in Flash using actionscript.
The hardware was a USB keyboard stripped down to only the controler. The pads where made of thin plastic and tin foil.
